Know exactly what your ETF is worth
Matharb is a free, independent tool built for everyday investors who want to understand whether their ETF is trading at a fair price — or if there's an arbitrage gap worth knowing about.
What is ETF Fair Value?
An ETF's market price should closely reflect the combined value of its underlying holdings — this is called its Net Asset Value (NAV). In practice, supply and demand can cause the ETF to trade at a slight premium or discount to that value.
Matharb calculates the weighted average performance of your ETF's holdings and compares it to the ETF's own market movement. The difference — the arbitrage gap — tells you whether the ETF is trading above or below what its holdings suggest it should be worth.
This is particularly useful for Fund-of-Funds ETFs, where the underlying holdings are themselves ETFs that trade independently on exchanges.
